Losi Mini-T
The Losi Mini-T is the vehicle that launched the mainstream mini RC craze. At 1/18th scale, it's mostly a scaled-down version of the tried-and-true XXX-T, with adjustments made to accomodate the unique size challenges of small-scale electronics. Its build quality does not, however, come anywhere near that of its larger forefather. Steering is sloppy, "friction shocks" provide no dampening whatsoever, and the stock electronics & servo were proprietary, requiring that all of them be replaced if you want to upgrade just one. The bright side is that the design shortcomings combined with the sudden, explosive popularity of the truck led to amazing aftermarket support. Today it's easy to build a Mini-T with almost no original Losi parts.
