In the holiday season of 2005, Kyosho unveiled a truck or "truggy" version of the Mini Inferno with longer a-arms , larger tires, and a truck body. This edition provided more suspension travel and a more stable ride, making it better-suited for a wide range of running conditions. It also featured redesigned differentials with 4 bevel gears (versus the original's 3) to handle the increased torque loads of the larger tires. These updated diffs became a popular upgrade for Mini Inferno buggy owners who had significant durability issues with the original parts.
